Editorial policy

Who is responsible for our articles

Every article is published under the name of a real person who is accountable for it, and is reviewed by a second named person before it goes live. There are no anonymous or “team” bylines on advice articles.

How an article is written

  • Topic first, keywords second. We choose topics from the questions small and mid-size businesses ask us about SEO, paid ads, websites and automation, then research what searchers actually need.
  • Primary sources. Claims about how Google, Meta or other platforms work are checked against the platform’s own documentation, and linked in a References & further reading section at the end of the article.
  • Practical over promotional. We explain what to do and why. Where an article mentions our own services, it is a clearly marked call to action, not part of the advice.

How an article is reviewed and fact-checked

Before publishing, a second person reads the article for accuracy, clarity and usefulness, and checks that any figures, platform behaviour and recommendations match the cited sources. Articles that do not meet that bar are sent back, not published.

Our use of AI tools

Our writers may use AI tools to help with research, outlining and first drafts. AI is an assistant, not an author: the named writer edits and takes responsibility for the final text, and the reviewer checks it independently. We do not publish unreviewed AI output.

Dates: published vs. last updated

Each article shows the date it was first published and the date it was last substantively updated. We only change the “last updated” date when the content has genuinely been revised, not for cosmetic edits. Search engines, ad platforms and tools change quickly, so we revisit articles when the guidance they contain changes.

Corrections

If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, email support@sivagatech.com with the article link. We review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.

Independence and disclosure

Sivaga Technologies is a digital marketing and web development agency, so our articles naturally relate to services we offer. If we ever include affiliate links or sponsored mentions, we will disclose them clearly on the article.
